====== RTTK Update and Build ======
RTTK source code is delivered via Caddie.  In Caddie click on the RTTK menu and select Updates.\\ If a new version is available the download button will be active.  Click on Download then Update. \\ Follow the video here [[https://youtu.be/SgSclc9na_M|Install and build video]]

===== Source Code Location =====
Update will replace the local copy of source code, stored in <fc #008080>%AppData%\RTTK\Source\src</fc>. \\ Under the Directories menu there is a link called RTTK Source which will open this directory. \\  {{:rttk:marshal:menu_source_directory.png|Source Directory}}

===== Build Process =====
From the Updates tab the tree will allow you to select which IDE/Platform builds you need and will begin the batch build process. \\ <fc #ff0000>RAD Studio needs to be closed before you start your builds</fc>

If your build fails, you can click on the logfile and it will open notepad to a log for the platform it tried to build. \\ To rebuild a platform, place a check in the status column.

==== Manual Build ====
To manually build the source code, you can open the projects and build in the following order, ensure you build the runtime before the design time: \\
  - FMXSERTTKDXE21.dproj
  - FMXSERTTKDXE21DT.dproj
  - VCLSERTTKDXE21.dproj
  - VCLSERTTKDXE21DT.dproj
